As I’ve mentioned previously, I support anti pollution measures IF they’re effective and are addressing a real issue. I’ve seen them work in the past. I have five kids and two grandchildren who I want to inherit a safe clean environment.

I don’t support measures that are arguably ineffective or address a nonexistent problem.

Should we take good faith common sense effective measures to keep the air we breath and the water we drink clean? Sure, of course.
100% agree!!

I don't see why that's necessary. Just a few posts above I put in links to the cost of EV's going up to an average of $69,000 and the impact of increasing EV ownership on rural substations.

That's topical.

Two posts out of how many in the past few pages been on topic and the rest have been insults, climate change debate, and other political drivel.

Two on topic posts will not save this thread and the trend it is going in.

Got nothing to do with differing opinions. This site has a no politics rule. I come here for Camaro and cars, not political drivel. It is you guys that need to respect the rules set forth by those that run this website.

If you want to go run your political view points about how climate change is a scam, is real, big bad government coming to take your ICE vehicles away, EV's save the planet, etc there are other websites that have political sections for that BS.

I don't give a crap if you like EV's or not. But you should be able to separate your political view points from them and keep these discussions non-political as much as possible because the admins have made political BS not allowed.

Simple. Their house, their rules. Get out if you don't like it.

The switch to EVs is inherently political to some degree. THEY stuck their nose in it with subsidies. Reading this thread is also optional. Sorry we've upset you. I agree though the personal attacks and insults have no place here. Some have showed up in this thread to do only that.

It’s only political because people refuse to consider the fact that automakers are making the heavy shift to EV and spending billions of dollars to do so because it makes the most business sense for them, not because they are being told to do so.

California (and other states) mandating zero emissions vehicles by 2035? Political.

GM, VW, and other automakers pledging to shift to zero emissions BEFORE California’s executive order? Business decision.
