Yep, checked it before posting the message. Looks the same as the SS according to internet pictures.
Adding to the debate: After researching I think the only thing missing in the LT1 are the Aux side coolant radiators. (only cools the water, so if water temp is ok, engine oil temp should be good too.) But regarding transmission and engine oil cooling looks like we have the same equipment. I also did some math and if drivetrain losses are 15-18%, 5% to 7% could be in the differential. After certain amount of power, you will need differential cooling, since air flow through case won't dissipate that much heat. 7% of 430hp (not 455 since you already loose some in the transmission) is 30hp. It would be the equivalent of a 22kw or 15 space heaters approx. Hence the LT1 limited to 155mph probably doesn't need it. Doing simple math with ChatGPT helping, if using 455hp takes you up to 175mph, you will only need 270hp to maintain 155mph. (Approx, if not accurate, lets say 300hp to be safe) 7% of 300hp is 21hp instead of 30hp, you can probably disspate that just with airflow throught the differential. Most cars reach 130/140mph and don't have diff cooling. I would say this "lack of cooling" is more of a marketing stun that a necessity for 99% of the cars out there. |

That's the confirmation then. I would say it isn't high speed track capable. You can do autocross and low speed tracks and it should be fine. Only concerns could be high coolant temps or differential oil temps.
LT1 is 100% 1/4 mile capable without issues. Anyway, after killing the tires and brakes in a track day, I'd say replacing the differential doesn't add much $$ to the bill |

I am only interested in drag racing and a little fun on the street. Thats awesome if I picked up an LT1 I wouldnt have to install trans cooler although my original worries about these newer platforms still exist. |

Well since I just bought a 2022 Camaro LT1 A10 I may as well update and confirm that the A10 trans does in fact come with the trans cooler. I absolutely love that it does because now I don't have to install one when I get a higher stall unless i want to upgrade to the ZL1 trans cooler

My '23 LT-1 w/10 speed has a tranny cooler.
oooh - was that politically correct? |

I am looking to figure out WHICH A10 equipped Camaro comes with the front tranny cooler but WITHOUT the rear differential cooler lines. I am wanting to separate the diff cooler from my transmission in an effort to isolate each system, Oil, Water (engine coolant), Transmission & Rear Axle Oil/Lubricant. Once these are separated, I can thermostatically control each within a range of operation for the given task.
If anyone has a VIN they are willing to share of an A10 Camaro without the diff cooler and with the trans cooler up front, please send me a DM here. I am looking for the OEM GM Part numbers for those lines. THANKS!!

https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=584316 I don’t believe they came with transmission coolers, the I4/v6 1LE did come with transmission cooler but only came in M6 and with differential cooler

My LT1 model A10 has the trans cooler. Does NOT have differential cooling.

I’ll update my chart to add a footnote about LT1 diff coolers I have a note in my sheet about the ZL1 convertibles, can’t remember about other models but I’d imagine it would be the same

Thought I would share this video so everyone finding this thread will have a better understanding of the A10 cooling and what to look for if something I have experienced causes issues like I have.
I wanted to share something that has happened to my ZLE and has caused quite a bit of frustration tracking down the origin of oil vapor smoke from under the hood while driving the car. If you track or street drive your Camaro, it might be worth your time to check the aux cooler in front of the radiator for tiny stones/rocks getting caught between the cooler and the plastic mount holding it in place. Mine has two pin-holes that only come into play when the transmission temps exceed the 190-degree thermostat and begin to flow at higher pressures. This is why it was so hard to find, as driving easy on the highway, my trans temps never reach this temp, thus the oil leaking was intermittent to show up.

Great vid thanks for posting. All those lines from the transmission is one reason I wanted to get the LT1 model. One less thing to worry about. Also no NPP on the LT1 so there's no big loss in money when opted for aftermarket exhaust.
I haven't looked on my LT1 yet but I assume I do have the trans line going to the radiator. Not sure how I feel about that yet and if I'll separate them. On my old LS1 cars I always separated the trans from the radiator just in case of a leak developed, didn't want fluid mixing and I also believed the trans fluid stayed cooler. We used to call the radiator a "fluid warmer" On my 01SS I also had the power steering cooler which I separated from the cooling system. Thanks for posting dude

In my looking at the system for the cooling of the differential from the transmission... I noticed the two lines coming from the trans, going to the diff and the line from the Aux cooler going back to the transmission has a quick-connect near the rear of the transmission... so what I am wanting to know, is there a a short cross-over tube on those cars not equipped with rear-diff cooling that I can simply remove my hard lines going to the rear to bypass this with a factory part..???
Is there anyone here with a V6 and A10 who can get the part code off their transmission of the line connecting the two hard lines off the transmission?
