Extended Warranty

Has anyone bought an extended warranty? Is it worth it if I drive 1k miles a year?

I did.

It was the first time in a great many years that I've bought any form of extended warranty on any product whatsoever, but...
Like you, I drive my ZL1 rarely. There is no way that I will touch the mileage limit of the regular (but very good) warranty, so I was looking for the time element, particularly since the car was only in its' second year of full production, and 30% of its' parts were new to the breed just the year before.
In the big picture, the additional cost, especially since our Canadian ZL1s are about $10,000 base price more costly here at home, it made sense to me to gain the additional comfort level of time rather than mileage.

I did as most i hardly dive so all the issues that take miles I will never get too. So for $ 700 to double the 36 month was a no brainier.

Purchased a 7 year 56000 mile warrantee. I probably won't put that many miles on it in 7 years. I definetly will not put on 100000 in 5 years. This way I get 2 more years.
