+1 I think the ZL1 bumper is the best looking bumper out there, that's why its a popular choice for non ZL1 models, I don't think it makes them posers. Cosmetic upgrades are fine, just don't badge/emblem it as something it isn't.

I don't have a problem putting functional items from higher end trim levels on lower trim levels. badging is where I have a problem.

The cars on the original post are clearly V6 cars. Really poor examples on how to tastefully mod a car without possing as something it is not.

Nothing wrong with adding whatever parts you want, as long as you arent adding fake badges to the car.

I only have a problem when the owner intends to misrepresent.

How does it bother you? Does it affect you in any way? I think its just as stupid like the next person but let people be happy and do what they ultimately want to do too their vehicle. Peace..

people do it to make themselves feel more important or better.

there's a jackhat running around here that has BMW "M" emblems all over his 528i.. how do I know it's a 528i, cause he left the 528i emblem on the trunk lid.

there's another I see driving to work everyday with C6 Z06 emblems on his 1994 C4.

and still another with a Honda Accord HYBRID that has Ferrari logos on either side.

to each their own far as I'm concerned.

One of my co workers asked why my V6 Mustang has the V8 front end on it, and I told him it came that way when I bought it and to me it looks SO much better the standard V6 Mustang grill looks boring as hell and all 4 lights on the front work .
