The bad thing about a sunroof is it puts additional weight at the highest point which raises the center of gravity, less headroom/helmet room on the Camaro, and you lose the reverse mohawk.

It didn't make sense on my 1LE and I guess GM thought the same for the Z28.

Corvette has a targa, does it not have curtain airbags?

My 87 firebird Formula had t-tops , they were great until they started leaking.
But back to the original topic, I love the sunroof.

Correct. Power sunroof to be exact.

Never used em much in vehicles of mine that had them , saving the $1200 for other uses , besides we don't see the sun up here in the north much. sigh.

Use mine all the time. Only wish the opening was bigger, the slide screen covers about a quarter of it, and cant go back far enough out of the way. It looks huge from the outside, but inside not so much.

I personally don't like sunroofs on cars period! It just makes them look weird with that huge black square on the roof! Maybe I'm crazy lol!

The more you know? GM actually lists it as a power sunroof.

Probably one of the most popular options on the Camaro. Isn't it almost 50% of production ?
My SS would not be the same without the sunshine on my IO interior during the day.
Worth every cent imo.

I love and enjoy mine. I prefer it to having the windows open.

Personally, no sun room. Had one and after first year never opened it again. I also believe it does affect the structural intergretity of the car if racing. I would look at convertible or coupe but forget the sun roof.
