Wanted the NA V8 in a Manual with all the bells and whistles, so went with the 2SS. So far I love it!
Dont think I splurged though. Largest purchase I have ever made so far though, so it made me second guess my decision. But with all the responses here, I feel like I made the right one. Age 25, Income 247k, Occupation: Senior Forecasting Manager for a Leading Pharmaceutical Company |

Isn't income a direct relation to where you live?

Don't feel bad for splurging. Now if you have to skip dinner every other day, then maybe that is a different story.

I think it definitely has an effect. Im in the Northeast so cost of living & Income are generally higher compared to the Midwest, I'd love to move to a place where I could have some more winding roads & Fishing spots. But the job is here and I guess I am too

This is a funny way to ask if a sports car is a smart purchase.

I know its not a smart purchase, but more of a calculated blunder. I always think the argument of not getting what you want because it is not financially beneficial, is pretty fruitless. The same could be said for food. Why would you ever eat something that's more expensive then chicken, Potato's & Multivitamins? you could live on that and anything else is more money?
Its a balance between getting what you want once in a while, and remaining financially sound. Example: I like Steaks & Cars. But, I'm not going to only eat Filet & buy a C7 ZR1; I think getting a better picture on what other Camaro enthusiasts allocate for cars based on income is a good estimator as to how much the average enthusiast is splurging. Just my $0.02 |

My income varies alot, but over the past 3 years I have ranged between $180k to $400k.
When I bought my SS I was about $75k.. ..I paid it off and not really looking to splurge on another toy yet. |
