I 100% agree with this. I'd rather keep stock parts and put them back on when or if I get rid of this car and at least get half of what I put in back. No value added by the upgraded parts anyway when you trade or sell yourself. Looks like the pile will continue to grow. I plan on cammimg soon and I'm sure I'll keep all the stock parts then as well knowing I'll never swap them back and get the tune changed back

Keep me on your give it away list then. I'll take that supercharger when you are done with it

Not by a long shot.

Although I tend to hang onto stuff either "just in case" something goes wrong with whatever I installed in its place or because I might find some use for it some day. Not because I'm likely to ever return any car to stock for resale (by the time I get rid of them, the difference in value between stock and modified isn't worth the time it'd take me to swap it back).

I keep all my stock stuff as well. Think f it like this. If in the event you need to out it back, you have it. Or you can try to sell and last resort post it up as a pay it forward.

I tried to spread the parts around the garage so my wife doesnt notice I have a crap load of parts that i upgraded. Keeping them in a huge pile does not send the right message to wife haha. Mind trick.

Guilty until recently. Sold everything except my FE4 sways. The two sets of stock wheels sure did take up a lot of room.

As long as I can walk through the garage from the house to the outdoors and she can get to the outside freezer without tripping over anything in what it thinks is its semi-permanent home, I don't ever hear much. The garage attic is one of those "out of sight, out of mind" things.

Yep, I still have all my stock parts. Not sure if it is wise or stupid. I go back & forth but just keep on keeping them.
