As I've said before I am in the market for a ZL1 .

Where are the deals people keep refereeing to ?

I took 5 minutes on the Corvette forum to find this example of a Z06
2LZ Package for less than 75000 .
That's only $10,000 more than the deals I'm seeing for the ZL1 .

2017 Corvette Z06 Coupe- Arctic White/ Jet Black

Auto/2LZ/ Chrome Wheels/ Carbon Flash Ground Effects/ PDR with Nav/ Carbon Fiber Dash/ Carbon Flash Mirrors and Spoiler/ Carbon Flash Stinger Stripe/ Z06 mats/ Chrome Bagde package/ Battery Protection

MSRP: $96,475
20% off VB PRice: $77,180
VB Price with Loyalty: $74,180

We want your Corvette trade!

Feel free to reach out with any questions or if you want to make this Corvette yours!

Well this thread got off track.

OP: I’m driving the C7Z and the ZL1 hopefully next weekend!

Good luck. In a year or so, I'm going to revisit a ZO6 and see what the zr1 did to the pricing.

What I love about this thread is that there is NO wrong answer. The fact that some of us are trying to choose between a Z06 or a ZL1 is truly a "High Class Problem" - I was have this same "problem" recently but I choose to pay for another year of my daughter's college tuition so I am out (for now). For me though, I've owned two Camaros and I just want a Vette because of the looks and because of the targa top. In the end though, I will either own a ZL1 Vert or a Z06 and now matter what, I win. Awesome time to be a car guy. Happy New Year everyone!

In the 2 someodd yrs I had the ZO6, I never took the top off once! I've opened the zl1's sunroof almost daily. My ctsv had a panoramic roof. Opened it all the time. By the way, the zl1 reminds me alot of the ctsv sedan. Rides, handles the same.

Talk about first world.. My girlfriend complains that the HUE lights installed in my house can't remember what color it was last set to, so she has to go into the app (3 seconds) to set it back to royal blue.........................Bow to the queen, huh?

On topic: I would go with the ZL1 for any reason besides the prestige look and feel.

One thing I'll add...the ZL1 still looks like a normal plain-Jane Camaro. Well to the unaware that is. GM could have put some better more conspicuous badging on it. It's like they tried their best to NOT make it stand out. But the Z06. That thing stands out. It is gorgeous. The ZL1 looks damn good itself. But the Z06 is just amazing.

I agree, but the Grand Sport kinda too some of the prestige away from the Z06.
Kind of a factory poser if you will..
