ACS spoiler installed
Just received and installed the ACS rear deck spoiler in gloss black. I originally wrapped my factory spoiler in gloss black (along with my roof) and rolled with that for a while. I like the gloss black spoiler on race red, but I’m just not a huge fan of the factory ZL1 wing. So I decided to swap it for the ACS. Loving the look. Installation was a breeze (~40 mins).
I do have a very very slight wind noise/whistle** at highway speeds. It’s just barely there, but I hear it if the cabin is otherwise silent (no radio, etc) so I’ll need to figure that out. **EDIT - See post 13 below, not caused by spoiler.

What part of Vegas are you in, I'm over by Red Rock Casino. I never see any ZL1s and tonight I saw 2 red ones on Sahara

Like you, I never see any ZL1’s around town. Good to know there’s at least one more out there. Absolutely love the blue. The red is growing on me (I didn’t order, just bought what Findlay had available), but HBM always has been and probably always will be my favorite.
It’s weird. I see HC’s fairly often, Z06’s, and even a few GT350’s. Heck, I had a GT350 for about a year before making the switch to a ZL1. And I would see a few other GT350’s out and about from time to time. But I have literally only seen one other ZL1 other than mine (a white 1LE). I’ll be on the lookout for you from now on. I’m driving near Red Rock pretty often. |

I really like that spoiler. I'm just afraid of how it sits on the trunk, whether it's flush enough or too tall in the front. It's also incredibly expensive. :-(
