$5k for New ZL1 1LE suspension
$5k for New Forged 19" wheels and tires.
$10k for whatever else you want done.

Eeesh! That hole is nuts. I wouldn’t pay new car price for that. I’d run the KBB retail price for a USED 1LE with whatever mileage the car has (even is its 9 or whatever). That’d be my offer. It was “used” by the body shop as far as I’m concerned.

Uh Oh, Kttxz has chimed in. He will tell you to do 850 RWHP and you'll for sure be faster than the 1LE down the straights and between corners.

But seriously, the 1LE might save you only 2-3 seconds vs a stock ZL1 on any local track. Think of what 750 RWHP (~$12k) can save you. The remaining $8k would be to invest in lots of rear tires.

That I could have lived with. The nose the hood the front fenders both doors and both quarters all had chips in them that required paint in order to fix properly and I didn’t even check the roof trunk or rear bumper as I was depressed after the long wait to see the car I ordered in that condition.

In my case I believe it was a combo of transport and sanding the parking lot during the at least 4 snow and ice storms they had in the three weeks it sat in the parking lot waiting to be shipped. There was handfuls of gravel in behind the grille laying on the trans cooler

the car is going back to gm. the gm rep has looked at it and found more issues but i only looked at it for 30 secs and knew i was not taking it and stopped. Both the dealer and GM have been great so far and a new one is on order.

The caveat...This one had a hole punched through the bumper requiring a whole new piece and paint. Yup. Now what do you say. And no, Rye I don't think I want to go down that road. Already had the rear wing on it for a day and sold it once I ordered the 1LE.

It's not a question of the 1LE or standard. It's more of a question if you think the deal is good enough to pull the trigger considering price and trade. I have no problem with the 1LE that others have. I could care less what it feels like driving down the road.

I guess I was hoping for better pricing from GM after effing up my car that was ordered 10 months ago.
Once a car has been repainted, I get rid of it. I would not buy it
