Radio reception issue
Two things that I've noticed with my radio:
1. Interference when I plug the phone charger 2. Bad reception on most radio channels both AM and FM regardless if the phone charger is plugged in or not (my wife drives an Infiniti and have no issues with those same AM and FM channels in the same area) Any ideas? |

Sounds like you may have an antenna or antenna cable problem. You may want to go by your dealer and check out the reception on the same stations as you have problems with on one they have on the lot, and if it is ok, trip to the service department is needed.

I have complained about reception issues for nearly two years now. My Camaro reception is horrible compared to my wife's Mustang and my daughters G5. I live in the country and it is annoying. Its because the powered antenae is in the rear glass. If you add an amp to the stereo, make sure you add a QUALITY one. I had one amp make it worse so I swapped to a new amp and it is now the same poor reception as stock.
