Truth or Dealer BS?
Saw a ZL1 at a local dealership so I stopped by to check it out. Solid black and beautiful. A young dealer came out and was hitting me with everything he had to trade in my SS for the ZL1. He told me that they make 3 different types of ZL1s and this one had 610hp and they only made 250 of em?!?!?!? Never heard of such a thing but was kind of currious if this jack waggon knew what he was talkin about or was making crap up.

He was thinking of the COPO's with 3 diff engine combos or they were also available to purchase with all 3 engines included with the car if I remember correctly. Only 69 built.

Actually...
Sounds as if he is mistaking the production ZL1 with SLP's versions when you said he mentioned the 250 being produced it could be a ZL from SLP. But I still think he is a dipstix.

I agree with Lengedary Umbra. I believe he was talking about SLP's ZL's. I think SLP has 575,585,600 something and I think they may also have a 700 hp version. Not sure. Do you have any pics??

Never trust the dealers. Some are not being malicious, they are just spouting off stuff they just don't know. I have argued with a few of them on different specs on different cars. They just get pissed when you prove them wrong.
