GM released that information the same day they released the Z. Look for the link to the dealer brochures for the info.

You'll probably want to sit in the Recaro's before ordering them. Recaro's tend to be rock hard. The ones in the Mustang GT haven't gotten great reviews for comfort. For an all out track car like the Z/28, it makes sense, but for a road car with actual bumps in the roads...hmmm.

pretty sure my Evo had them. i am slightly rounder in the middle so it was a snugger fit. (and i havent gotten any younger and slenderer.

I am 5'10" and a muscular built 220lbs. I have had factory Recaros in two other cars and loved them. I took one of the cars on a couple of short road trips, longest being 8 hours one way with no issues or discomfort. As you stated they may not be for everyone but I won't think twice about ordering them in my 1LE as that is one of the 2014 selling points for me.

Although i have never driven a car with recaros I am excited to have them. It might be a good idea to sit in them before ordering but only chance of that is if they have a demo car at a south Florida car show. I'm not too concerned to be Honest.

I wish GM would put out some pics of a 2014 1LE. Any one else think the hood wrap will be a 2013 item only? Seems like a lot more work to wrap the hood with the heat extractor in it.

I agree but GM said the ZL1 and 1LE features will cary over so I take that to mean the black hood and wheels remain. Of course that interpretation is mine based on what I read. I wish they would at least tell us when we can see one. I am surprised nobody on the forum has done a photoshop rendering on both, thought this would have happend by now.

Anyone consider just buying the Recaro seats for your 2013...I'm sure we can by the seats once the updates are being built...or some unfortunate soul wipes out and you get a salvaged pair! I would think/hope they have the same dimensions to fit in the 2013 bolt downs.

The Recaro seats and me being able to save up another few thousand for a down payment without having to dip into the savings account is reason enough for me

Also been meaning to ask you, what dealer you had problems with? I am from Slidell and went to Mossy Chevy in Picayune Mississippi.

I had money on the table w/ a 2011 Vert buyback and had to put it into the 2013 coupe... thank GOD for the 1LE package, and the sunroof and the rs and the nav and the npp and the crystal red paint and the mats and the... lol you get the idea.

I actually had problems with a couple of 'em.... My vert buyback was done through Best in Kenner.
