The power curve on the LGX band for torque peaks at 5,800 and Hp at 6,000. So there is no use red lining it you past the power curve. Do want you like its you car. Congrats on being able to afford a new car at 19 years old.

That's a good car for a teenager. Don't wreck it and save that mod money. That car is fast enough for your income level right now. Save that money for a day that an opportunity comes your way. Good credit and $10,000 ready cash and you can go anywhere you want in life.

If this is your daily driver, then I would stay away from anything that could void the warranty or cause it to be less reliable.

You can floor it all you like, just don't bounce off the rev limiter. Tires can get expensive if you burn out all the time.

Don't drive distracted.

Nice car, excellent car for anyone, including someone's first car.

My advice, stay away from the plastic spray paint. It's fine for smaller things, but wheels take a ton of abuse, you'll spend time touching it up and it will still look mediocre at best. You want to look at powder coating them. You'll need to take it to a shop to have that done, but the results will be phenomenal. Better quality than factory paint and will last longer. You're looking at about $500 when you factor in mounting and balancing as well. About $100 per wheel at most places. The only downside is you'll be out your car for a week or two because the wheels will have to come off and they'll need to remove the tires and plastic caps and sensors to strip and powder coat.

I support the dark finish tail lamps - honestly makes the look so clean. Personally, wouldn't paint the calipers but it's your car do whatever you want to it and don't let others tell you otherwise!

congrads!

congrads on camaro v6 at 18...Enjoy it...Be cool and be careful....Jump on Interstate 85 and floor it once in awhile....Have fun! but this is a rear wheel drive car...rough winter in Georgia, watch out for black ice, and slow drivers, and people that will pull out in front of you...watch out for "the fast and furious" mentality of other drivers that want to race you...Don't show off for the girls, that gets guys everytime....Enjoy!

Great time to own a Camaro

Advice: remember to save some money for new rear tires. Even with the 6 you’ll need them sooner than you think.
