How many people here have dropped their car keys and were unaware? Do you have a separate key ring to get into your house? Did you file a police report of a burglary into your house? So the keys were the only thing taken? I wish the OP would come back and post because something really do not add up about this story.

Even the photos are confusing... if they hit a tree why the damage in multiple areas to the front and rear? Enquiring minds want to know!

EDIT:

If you read what he posted, you would see that he dropped his keys, and they were stolen. Easy enough to understand, no need to be an ass about it.

He said stolen or dropped... but being an ass I probably should have read it the way you mis wrote it.

And the next time you try and call someone out at least have your facts straight. There is nothing wrong with asking qualifying questions to better understand.

Wow, hate to see that. You had a very nice looking car. I hope you get something else just as nice soon. Sometimes people are no damn good.

I'd be happy with either or since I owe 24k on the car

that completely sucks. You owe 24k on a 2010 1LT? Dayum.

I got rear ended about a week ago myself, barely had any visible damage, but was very saddened by this. I can only imagine how you are feeling, I'm very sorry to see this happen to a good person, having anything stolen really violates a person, having something like a car that you love stolen and ruined can certainly be devastating, all I can say is give it time, get another camaro if you're so inclined, but above all focus on the positive things in your life. You will get over this in time. Again, very sorry to see this.
