Ceramic Pro

I just got my car covered in 4 layers of Ceramic Pro 9h glass shield (TiO2). They then added 1 layer of Ceramic Pro Light (SiO2). Then they added 3 layers of the Ceramic Pro RAIN on the windshield and 1 layer on the other windows.

Got it back the other day and looks amazing. They did a surface prep and some paint correction from the dummys wash circles from the dealership. Also I had a decent scratch they made vanish. Its been raining here in Seattle alot (shocker...) and the coating has been awesome. The rain just beads right off. Still has a decent gloss look with a minimal amout of noticable dirt down by the rockers.

The guys at Advanced Protective Coatings in Kirkland, WA did an awesome job. Explained what it does n doesnt do and took the time to explain how they were applying it. I stuck around and watched them for a few hours and chatted with them. Fortunately I picked my car up on a rare sunny day and it looked awesome.

For the prep and paint correction from the swirls and the scratch total came to 1850.

Looks really nice! Ceramic coatings are definitely the way to go. Curious if you do not mind me asking what this costs?

I am curious to know if this is a better choice than getting Paint Protection Film...

the two are not connected, ceramic guards against swirling and paint marring, not rocks, only a film can protect against rock bashes...film the front of the car, ceramic for the rest is a good combination

Oh, I guess I was under the impression that an extremely hard ceramic coating would do about the same. Thanks for the info.

Looking hot!! I had Opti-coat Pro 2 ceramic coating put on mine last week, I wouldn't think of going without a ceramic coating, I just love the way water beads up rolls right off taking most dirt with it and how little dust collects on it. Not to mention the amazing glass like gloss finish and the multiple years of protection, it's a must have as far as I am concerned!!

Yea living in the Seattle area the water repellant is a huge perk. I've driven it about 700 miles since I got it applied and there is noticeable dirt down on the lower part of the door but I took a light pressure washer to it and it rinsed most of it off. Still is some there but nothing compared to my buddy with a black 2012 Camaro after its been raining.
