How it Works: Hurst Line/Loc - Roll Control Kits

How it Works: Hurst Line/Loc - Roll Control Kits

Application:
Universal and vehicle-specific kits available.

Part #1745000 - Hurst Universal Roll Control Kit

Part # 5671518 - Hurst Roll Control Kit for 2010-2015 Camaro

Features of the Hurst Line/Loc Kits:
Used primarily in drag racing to provide positive locking action to the front wheels of race cars, reducing the chance of "Rolling the Lights" and producing more effective "Burn Outs" for heating up the tires. Rigorous testing has proved a 1/100,000 of a second release time and vibration tests have seen up to 30 G's applied without mechanical failure. Adaptable to most domestic and import hydraulic brake systems. CAUTION: Hurst Roll Control should not be used as an emergency brake, or for any application requiring the solenoid to be activated for a long period of time.

-Advanced quality design stainless steel valve assembly for ultimate corrosion resistance
-Fully enclosed epoxy molded electrical coil for reliability
-Attractive finned aluminum housing helps dissipate heat
-Wider lightweight base provides better mounting stability
-150 micron screen filtered ports to prevent contamination
-Field serviceable for cleaning or rebuilding

What does this have to do with 6th generation Camaros? Would be interested in a kit for the 2016+ Camaro.

This! Any developments on a ‘16-‘18 specific line lock kit?

You'll want to take a look at our Universal Line/Loc kit, part #1745000. You'll only need one of the kits to lock the front, rear or all wheels by tapping into the main brake line out of the brake booster. Being that the kit is universal it will need a bit more fabrication to properly install; that's also why we have a Support Team available Monday through Friday from 7:30 am (Pacific) to 5:00 PM that can assist. The Universal kit does not include the directions on how to fully turn off the traction control system, but I'm sure the steps can easily be found here on the forum. If you have any questions about any of our performance products for your Camaro please feel free to PM me.
