A10 Questions

I currently have a DCT e92 m3 which does not roll when you take your foot off the brake. You can also floor it with traction off and it "dumps the clutch" and can roast its tires.

Does anyone know if the A10 will roll when the brake is not applied? Also will it dump the clutch or is it more like a traditional automatic.

I already ordered an A10 but I'm just curious if anyone knows these answers.

The A10 is a conventional, torque-converter automatic design. Advanced...ridiculously good...but torque converter, not dual clutch, like the BMW you mentioned.

So:
1) It will roll when you release the brake, and
2) It will not "dump the clutch" to roast the tires...but the car does have burnout mode.

Thank you for the info! It would be a neat aftermarket product if someone could introduce "auto hold" to the camaros just so they don't creep forward.

Perhaps. Could always put it in neutral...

"Oh no! If only I had a way to keep my automatic car from rolling forward... Using my foot is soooo inconvenient..."
