Are all the Cameros build on the same line?? Looks like you ordered an SS, and i ordered a ZL1, no idea if this is a stupid question. makes since they would all be, but i don't know. My dealer was hoping to have it delivered to me before the end of the year. And you commented that yours might be late January. Wondering whos information is is closer to the right delivery time.

You know, that's a very fair question. I'm not sure what the process is for building the ZL1. I've been lurking pretty hard in the 1LE section and those guys are getting their cars delivered, on average, three to four weeks after the TPW. I figure with a 12/5 TPW, add Christmas and New Years in there, I don't expect my car to leave Michigan until sometime in January. It'd be awesome to have it before the end of the month but that's just high hopes for me. Maybe the ZL1 will be different since there's not as many of them made? Seriously hope it works out for you. That would be the best Christmas gift ever.

I think all Camaros come down the same line. They just put on the parts required for that build. The proper parts arrive when required.

yes hope to see movement next week, I think TPW 11/28 was pushed back a little, at least from the posts I see. I don't know what that means for us.
funny if I get my red car built on pearl harbor day. red like the Japanese meat ball flag. at least my WW2 vet father would say it's not a jap car. lol

I get weekly updates emailed to me from the Chev Chat line.

The email from 11/23 indicated i was at event code 3100.
The email received 11/30 did not update the event code, but still indicated a TPW of 11/05.

I'm all over this camero6 site doing as much learning and research as i can.

For me, my ZL1 is really a toy, or weekend driver. But here in California i can drive it most of the time. Just not sure i want to take it out in the rain and get the undercarriage all dirty. Yea, I know, kinda silly, But i really like to keep my stuff nice. Probably a bit of the OCD kicking in.

ooh yea i feel bad for you you lucky guy.
when i pick the car up some time in January, ill have to put it in the garage for a few months until the weather warms up.
