(in regards to camaro vs 392) I Was just comparing fastest time to fastest times. Looking at this and trap speed the cars have about a 3 tenth and 3 mph difference. Not all 392's run 12.2 either.

You are missing the point (or dont want to accept it) with the GT500. The fastest stock Gt500 with a tire is 11.1 at over 120mph. If you want to keep stock tires on the cars like I said the 392 will keep up. If both have slicks it is very ugly. Like I said the power to weight ratio isnt even close...the GT500 DESTROYS the 392.

How can you tell yourself a car that is 4200lbs with 470 hp can not be far behind a car with 550hp and 3800 lbs? That isnt even common since. Same for the camaro vs 392. 38xx lbs 426 hp vs 42xx lbs 470 hp...much closer race. Not rocket science here.

so you're saying the srt8 is the fastest and only car in its class. got it. fact is that for money the srt8 was a massive underperformer until now. it's still pricey considering it's on par performance with a 30k mustang.

You know what it is......there are so few 392's out there that no one really knows what they do.

But trust me they go....they go fast.

I would not be surprised to see one get a 12.0 or even 11.9 bone stock.....not surprised one bit

Thats why I am very confident that when Dodge gets into this latest slugfest they are gonna impress......big time

Cant let the ZL1 and 2013 GT500's have all the fun....

That is my goal this winter when I goto SGMP. I want that 12.0 timeslip bone stock!!!!! Oh.....of course I will have a catch can. I guess thats not bone stock anymore.

I sure hope so because as it stands (especially for the Mopar guys) Ford is leading the race in the muscle car wars in performance. Minus the Gt500 vs. ZL1, but we all can sort of envision what's going to happen there at least on paper.

Hate to break it to you but your sig is pretty funny. Bone stock is bone stock, that means no mods, no royal purple oil change, no optima battery, COMPLETELY BONE STOCK, 0/ZERO/NO mods whatsoever.

You know something funny. Ive been keeping this to myself but its gotten way out of hand. I DIDNT EVEN HAVE THE CATCH CAN ON WHEN I DID THAT 12.25 RUN!!!!!!
