yes just bought it and having it shipped to me. I am/was paying for the shipping (included in contract) but dealer found the transport company on my behalf. I got a super deal on this 2011 with only 8k miles. If not fixed to my likely dealer will refund.

...and hopefully it doesn't show up on Carfax because when people read front bumper replaced and painted they are going to think it was in an accident and there goes your resale value. I'd pitch a stinkin fit it I were you if it shows up on Carfax

dont think it will, not being reported. Latest word is no bumper replacement required just a repair/paint of small lower section. We will see...

but, yea... they dont do that, unless its been totalled while on the lot. Once them papers are signed, and they have their money, all different story...

Man, that doesn't sound right. The bumper looks ripped, how can they possibly fix that. To me it looks like the entire weight of the car transferred to the front bumper, if that's the case I would think structural damage as well as cosmetic.

Every bodyshop will tell you that for a proper paint repair, you can't do spot repairs and they will have to repaint the whole front bumper. Also, there are plastic panels, tabs and brackets underneath that may have been bent and/or cracked from the weight of the car being placed on them.

It sounds like the dealer is trying to minimize the damage in your mind to make you feel better about it so you don't unwind the deal.

You didn't agree to purchase a car with damaged front end therefore the contract you agreed to is void, get your entire purchase price back and move on. The dealer will drag his feet but don't accept the car as repaired. If you need to hire a lawyer do it.

It might be just the way the picture was taken, but it looks like the fender got damaged also.

That sucks! This is how I get my cars to shows. I almost screwed up last summer once loading my 1LE. Ramp popped up and smacked the bottom of the car really hard. Luckily the truck E brake was set and ramp hook dropped back in the track. Otherwise the car would have been sitting on the back of the trailer! I learned a lesson to block the back of the trailer now and check ramp angle. I have the same 6 foot aluminum ramps.
