I think the no logo option is great. The RS or 1LE guys can have a logo stitched in aftermarket if they want.

I wanna get a set for the wife's car..gonna be a trick to get them to fit in there tho. Would be nice if they made a set without airbags, for older cars....

I went to the Penske Dealership where I bought my 2014 SS to see if I can pre-order or reserve the Z28 Cold-Air Intake......and the dude at the counter had no clue what I was talking about:( in fact the A**wipe felt a need to mention that I was trying to get a part from an $80K car for a $40K car....what a jerk!
To be honest, I agree with a few views here....it sucks that the Z28 exclusivity it being lost by selling the parts, but I have been wanting a Cold-Air Intake upgrade since I got my SS and now I finally can get one without voiding that damn warranty....

Do we have any guesses as to how much the intakes will cost? and when they may be released? (mid summer, end of summer)

No clue to date or pricing but a CAI on its own will not void your warranty because it doesn't require a tune.

I am guessing that if you take the cold air intake, and the Y-Headers, you will also need a re-tune for your engine. Any info if Chevrolet also offers a remap for your LS3 if you fit these two parts?

Geez, reviewed this thread and still no answers to basic questions. Without a tune the Z/28 CAI and TriY's won't add much to a Camaro. WITH a tune that's warranty approved I think gains could be modest to good. Also, with an allowed tune the more eager could change out the CAI tube with a smoother aftermarket one, etc. More room to play. Any info on when available, pricing, and if a tune is offered is much appreciated.

However I have already upgraded mine. I like my supercharged LS3 and just had car completely repainted so CGM would match. GM made the rules on restriction Not me so, by the rules I must have a z28 to get the parts I want. If I buy one I might as well help out fellow enthusiast so I will stock up on exclusive parts and put out kits for all people that can not buy them to get them. Then I will upgrade my brakes, transmission and rear axle at same time, this saves money since i was planning this for my SS anyways. Since i have the extra parts from my car I will transfer them to the z28. Not needing the car in the end I will use it to trade in on the challenger I want.

This makes allot of sense because I get both cars the way I want them. In buying the z28 used I will make back most of my cash. What I may lose should be made up by re-selling the restricted parts. In the end SS will decimate most cars, be a great show car and the challenger will be fast but also be a good commute car because of warranty wont have to think about.
