Rear Shocks Replaced, Stabilitrak, Codes, Battery etc

Hello Everyone

Yesterday I replaced the original battery in my 2013 ZL1. I
replaced it with the best one from Advance Auto. I started it but didn't drive it. It seemed ok. The next morning I pulled it out of the garage and parked it in the driveway to take it to get the shocks replaced. It appeared to be running fine. Then I couldn't get the key to turn in the ignition. AAA came and towed it to the shop. They replaced the shocks and rear pads.

When I picked it up, now I have a service Stabilitrak msg and 4 lights on the dash three on the right by where the traction control one is at. I also have a flashing check engine light on. It is running rough and the exhaust sounds bad.

1) Do I have to do anything special after replacing the battery?
2) Is there any kind of "black box" to review activity in the computer?
3) Do I have to reset anything after the shocks were replaced?
4) Do you have to drop part of the exhaust to change the shocks?

Thank you for your patience and help,
Ed

Nothing special on the battery but make sure it is fully charged and recheck your ground.

ECU, and shocks check or scan for codes.

No the exhaust does not come into play with strut removal or installation, but depending on who did it there maybe a few things to check. The battery should have been pulled when removing strut plugs and reconnecting. Also the depinning of the plugs and repinning the new struts takes patience, you wouldn’t want to get the pins wrong or damage the wiring. If there are issues with the 5 volts in the struts you should have a code.

For some reason i seem to remember getting stabilitrac issues after a dyno pull years ago that was traced to a damaged rear wheel speed sensor. Odds were it got accidently damages when they were strapping the rear of the car down on the dyno.?
