I did the same. My last deployment paid for my Camaro. It was my goal and I had a Convertible Camaro Hot Wheel in my pocket the whole time. When I finally got a real one, it was the best feeling ever.

37 years in IT. Kids grown, married off and moved out. It's amazing how much extra money you have when you're done paying for college tuition/books, weddings...

Now I get to spend my money on things I want to spend it on. It just happens that I want to spend money on a Camaro.

Not knocking up girls in college, part time carpenter work and working the bar at USC (Gamecocks).
I have done very little though but have saved up for it!
