I agree, my vin# 293 was built back almost on day one. I got a call from my dealer last thursday and he said that he just read on his computer that the car was "in transit" and should be in on that day or the next... well here we are a week later and i've heard nothing! oh. well

I just said this on another thread, but I called Ramey Chevrolet asking about when they would have one, and I was told they will be having a special unveiling of it on May 4th. He then asked if I would like an invitation to the event and stuff.

my dealer just called me an hour ago to let me know the lady who submits the orders told him to get my order finalized because it should be getting pulled any day now! i still am undecided about a color!!! sim or abm? and now im thinking maybe i should just be like f8ck it and go with iom!!! wut to do!!!

but anyway, back to the OP....
i told my dealer about how penske got his first order and he said he was under the impression that every dealership was told to wait till may 6th...but now that i think of it...some1 sed on her that they were asked to wait till then but dont have to...either way it dont matter to me cuz mine wouldnt be here by then anyways......well actually i do wanna see some REAL LIFE pics b4 i decide on a color!

ha, yeah, im sure most of the dealers will be happy when they get the cars, so people like us will stop harassing them. haha. i email like ten dealers today. haha, this is my third round of emails in two weeks.

early vin's may have had problems off the line so they had to be fixed. The later vins on the other hand came straight off the line with the problems already fixed

It has been said before on MANY threads.

If your car is actually ready, it is the dealer`s choice to release it on or before May 6th. If your dealer has your car just sitting there, I would do some `loud discussing`with him/her

If your car has been held back because of QC issues, on the other hand, then that`s a different story.
