Best exhaust sealant and/or clamps?
Are there any good sealants, seals, or clamps that are better than just a stock or simple clamp?
Talking band clamps for butt connections mostly.

The Stock Clamps are good Clamps But,
We offer a 3" long band clamp that is used in butt connections. Clink the like below and it will bring you to our website where you can find the options for these style clamps http://stainlessworks.net/3-high-tor...accuseal-clamp |

I appreciate the response SW. Just an FYI: in the description it states they're for ID/OD connections.

See the Picture below. They are made to be both a Butt connection or ID/OD connections. See picture below. They are not pre-formed for ID/OD connection so you can use them as a Butt Connection. |

PM sent about these for me as well. Anyone have any input on some kind of sealant pipe liner or epoxy or something like that as well?

Permatex makes a pipe/muffler sealant. I used it on the stock clamps headers to catback to eliminate the little weeping I had there. Used to smell it in the cabin at idle a bit, no more.

I've used high-temp RTV on exhaust connections with success.

Any High temp silicone/sealant will work. Put some on the male end and slide him in and clamp it tight and you should be all good.
Thanks |
