Depends on your major. It can get pretty hectic.

I did it, although not until after my second year, three years ago now. I had already moved into my own place off campus by then and had a really good reliable job.
It can be done but don't forget to budget extra money. More than you think, for unexpected expenses. *In life, there are no nandroids*

Depending on which model you get. I wound up with a brand new 2012 2ls, pretty affordable, and my insurance is not too bad either. I was also able to mod the crap out of it haha! It really depends on what school your attending, what your major is, etc. A 25,000 (in my case 31,000) dollar car is quite the distraction. AND NEVER EVER PARK ON CAMPUS. I had my vinyls scratched by a key. For some reason college students love tearing up camaros.

Make sure you think that through man. A LOT of unforeseen expenses associated with going to college. Both with classes/books/school stuff and with utilities/food/living expenses..
Plus you will be lucky if nobody messes with it. Haters are everywhere at colleges.

I'd get a g8 in my honest opinion. Pretty much a 4 door camaro and you can get them dirt cheap. Also since it's a sedan doesn't call as much attention as a camaro. People will not be inclined to vandalize it.

Its all about scheduling. I had no problem working a normal job while in school, I scheduled all of my classes on Monday and Wednesday for the semster. Or on Tues. Thurs for the semester.
So I could always work three days a week, and on the weekend. Undergrad and Masters, and I only had one semester that I couldnt get all my classes on two days, and I just made it work. Get a job where you can work 3-4 days a week, and have nights off to study. You dont want to be working all night and have an exam the next day, cramming is important |

It gets pretty difficult especially if you're gonna be a full time student that means less hours at work and less money.

I say hold off on the Camaro. Just my opinion. If you need a car get a beater. I rode around for 3 years of college in a $1500 94 Fleetwood Brougham. Trust me there will come a time when Oddles and Noodles along with a hot plate become your best friend. Even if you gave it a year or two first just to see how things go and then revisit the Camaro idea.
