As an ex-V6 owner, I had trifecta too. To be honest I only saw CEL disappear and had better gear shift. Nothing else !!

I got my tune the first year I had my car, which only had a CAI on it. Since then, Ive added everything you can buy, except for FI. I data logged and asked for a new tune every time I modded, and all they ever did was respond with "tune looks good." Literally, every single time. I bet they just say that instead of actually looking since they dont make any money from it.

Trifecta has had some major issues with tuning the LLT and basically got fed up with it. They will basically only really pay attention to big problems and FI/nitrous set ups. If you are lookin for an updated tune...there probably wont be any, sadly.

I feel like I paid $300+ for a dangerous ghost cam and harsher shifting when in sport mode, thats it.

BS

They have given up on the 5th Gen Camaro their support was never great to begin with and are now panhandling to the 6th Gen crowd but basically slapping all of the 5th Gen owners in the face with the lack of a response and support on here. They claimed when I called them out on past issues on the Camaro6.com forum that they no longer suffered from or had the issues that plagued them, clearly that was a lie if they're unwilling to support those who supported them in the first place.

I'll be posting this on Camaro6.com aswell so no one gets taken for a ride by them until they make good on their claims.

Hey guys, I realize everyone has different experiences but for the record, Vince at Trifecta has always treated me right. He tuned my twin turbo LLT and did a great job refining it. Been great ever since. He recently worked on the ECM for my LFX/LLT engine transplant and our first test was a success. I could not find anyone else who could do what he did with this project. He is a very knowledgeable tuner and has always done me right. His tunes for my projects have been great.

My car is long out of warranty and was considering a tune. Who can recommend a reputable dependable tune for these cars?

Do yourself a favour and get it dyno tuned with HPTUNERS, I hear overkill tunes are ok as well. But I have had bad experiences with mail order tunes. And anyone who believes the marketing hype that they will keep updating the tune for free for the rest of the cars life needs a reality check.

Vince was an amazing dude, however he was the only dude that most of spoke to. One man can only do so much.

He should have just said we will do free retunes for a period of 1 year. Or released the software to other tuners and made $$ off the licenses.
