you notice it the first time you get in it and drive it, then after a day or two it is a non issue.

Every car has its blind spots, even my tiny Honda Civic had them. I use both my mirrors and a quick turn of the head before changing lanes.

I have my seat raised about as high as it will go, so my biggest blind spot is behind (or in front of?) the rearview mirror.

I don't always have the most confidence where the curb is relative to the passenger side of the car...especially when making a tight turn...but I daily drive mine, and love it.

Visibility is kind of shitty especially toward the rear. My personal fix is add right foot to floor.

Overall its not that bad but relative to other cars, its not great. Like others have mentioned, properly adjusted mirrors, awareness and giving yourself conservative space to turn is always good idea. I also back into any parking spots cuz backing out of one is pretty much a gamble every time. I'm guilty of driving super cautious/defensive in tight spots and parkades probably annoys the guy behind me but hit the streets and its all good.

Thanks guys!

No worse than a 41 Chevy coupe.

I think it's the tall doors and short windows that people aren't used to. Actual rear visibility out of a 2000 Mercedes CLK Convertible is MUCH worse. The first time I sat in a new camaro I was shocked at all the visibility complaints I read about.

I really like the "chopped" feel the short windows give.

As others have mentioned, there are visibility issues but you do learn how to overcompensate by using your mirrors more. It takes a few days and you always have to back up very slowly from between parked cars until you can actually see through the side windows. I believe this has made me less reckless of a "backer upper". The only thing I somewhat regret is that I went full limo on the tint. Looks awesome but scarily hard to see out of at times on poorly lit roads. If you get the Camaro, have fun but be safe! Bob

Mine is hard to back up, that's how I park in my work spot. I typically guess and then then have to sometimes move the car back/over etc.

I have a driver's side blind spot that makes me a little nervous, like if a car is next to me on the left but the front fender is just behind my door. That's hard to see. I tend to exercise much more care moving over into the left lane.

I'm going to try a small stick-on mirror on the driver's side and screw anyone who thinks that's lame. I've had 7 Camaros, 5 Mustangs, a C5Z and many other cars.

there is absolutely no blind spot if you use your mirrors right, I'm a student too who was concerned about the visibility and buying this as my daily driver. Could not be happier, you get used to it in about 20 minutes. Make sure you use your side mirrors right (may not be what your used to).

Trust me, if you have the means, I highly suggest picking one up.

You will be OK if your mirrors are adjusted properly. You should not see any of the car body in the mirrors.
If you look over your shoulder when driving, stop doing it. Only inexperienced/bad/cell phone hugging drivers do this.

What's your logic behind that?
