Yeah, the ZL1 is still a special model Camaro so it will appeal to certain buyers.

Mine is fully loaded...actually it has also a dealer installed option on top of that...the only Q50 stickering higher than mine was a fully loaded hybrid.

Typical Californian lmfao. I'm so damn glad I got out of that shit hole 12 years ago smh. All my family is still in northern California(where I was born) and when I visit all I see are tesla's like civics. No modded or cammed cars, damn strict pointless emissions, and everything severely overpriced and over crowded nooo thanks. Keep your Tesla's, your tech, and everything that comes with it when the next recession hits (which is around the corner).

Haha, no shit.

Case in point.

My '15 GTR Black Edition. Bought new for $109k back in '14. Traded it in 9 months later with 4000 miles on it. They gave me $72k. haha.

My '16 Z06, Z07 Package. Paid $109k for that. Had it 1 year, had about 6500 miles on it. Had a LMR 750 package done to it. The dealer gave me $70k for it.

My '18 Zl1 A10 I paid $65k OTD. I have about $35k into it. I can't imagine what a dealer would give me right now. Prob $50k.

Shit is an expensive hobby.

yes, this is true.... but, also think of this ---- The gas cars we have now are the best there will ever be for gas cars..... The battery cars you have now are the worst they will ever be for battery cars.... The battery cars will keep evolving and the ones that get 300 miles now on a charge will not be worth squat when you can get ones that get 1000 miles per charge for less money....

BTW, the Chinese are way ahead of the USA on autonomous, battery cars. They will soon flood the market with under $20K cars that will make non-hobbyist consumers happy.

I think if you keep the currently sought after sports cars with a stick shift that you should be ok for a while... Battery cars will never have a clutch/stick shift.

The day electric cars will have an actual range comparable to fossil fuel cars and, more importantly, recharge times comparable to refueling times (and with filling station as easily found on the road) I will be interested...until then, enjoy being the early adopter, as far as I'm concerned I take a pass....

Absolutely...I'm not letting my car go for 30% of its original value after 4 years and only 37K miles, no way.

I just chatted over the phone with another dealer across the country (Maryland for a blue ZL1) offering 18.5K for my ride...take a hike.

If anything I will drive it until the wheels fall off or I will sell by myself and I will never trade in a car again.

In my area, I found few cars identical to mine with asking price between 26 and 28K.

I can put it for sale for 23K (maybe letting it go for 22 eventually) and so undercut them significantly, the hassle of selling it by myself does not bother me.

Another lesson learned...never buy again a luxury marque with no "aspirational power" (I should have got a Lexus instead), Infiniti unfortunately is not a strong brand.

I cannot imagine the depreciation on Lincolns......

Dude I would suggest you actually keep a car for more than a year or so.... your losing like 40k/year on cars. Yikes! If your a multi-millionaire with cars and home paid for, please disregard.

Need to get out of here myself. The EV enthusiasts are some of the most obnoxious people I've ever seen. Self righteous pricks.

They have the same attitude as vegans. Especially the ones who can't stop sucking off musk.

You sure can't! You'd have a stroke.

Lincoln, any CJD product that's NOT a Wrangler, just insane how much they loose.

If we where all 100% concerned about resale we'd all just drive 4Runners and Tacomas and live happily ever after.

Unfortunately I get bored pretty quick so. But, I'm trying to slow down a bit more as I get older.

Unfortunately for every Californian like us that moved to Texas, there are 10 *****hat wearing leftists who want to flip this state into a high tax shithole like the one they had to flee

Anyway, OP, I had an offer for high 58s to buy a new zl1 back in summer, cf hood and nav, 10 speed but no recorder

Chevy may still be doing terrible incentives this month so ask around and maybe wait until they bring back all the free money

No doubt. A Lincoln would lose 50% of its value the moment you drove off the lot. On the flip side, I bought a brand new 2005 Toyota Tacoma (when the body style changed) for 24k and drove it for 2.5 years and got $21,500 on trade in. That was the least expensive vehicle I ever owned. Pickup trucks are always in demand.
