Hey guys,

Lifelong muscle car guy here (51 YO

) Had a lot of good cars and a couple of Camaros in my time. Just picked up a '16 2SS (has the mag ride, brembos, NPP...) with 27K, paid ~ $33.5K The best part for me is the white with adrenaline red interior, just what I wanted.

I sold my '01 Vette a year and a half ago (along with my '99 Silverado

) to get the wife a new Mazda CX-9 GT. I got her '14 Mazda6 GT to drive, great car just not enough cylinders

Here is a good representation of where I am going soon. I've seen this recently and always loved the black/red graphics on white cars. I ordered the wheels and am getting upsized (wider) Nitto's. I am going to do the black/red hood/trunk stripes on both sides however. (Please excuse the poor mans photoshop work)

I'll post up pics when it is complete. For now, just glad to be back in the land of American Muscle!!!

Yes well the agreement was I'd get a new Vette. A 2-seater was fine when I had 3 vehicles (2 with 4+ seats) but not ideal with 2 cars. My youngest son (23 YO) is disabled and will live with us for the rest of his life so a compromise was a 2nd car with at least a back seat.

I chose the Camaro over the Mustang GT and Challenger SRT and the decision was easier when I found this one. A CTS-V was also in the running but I didn't want to settle with a V2 ('08-'14) and the V3's were just too much money to spend.

Guys,

I would like to put on my "want list" a front splitter, side skirts and rock guards. I would prefer a little understated and matte black to go with the theme in my OP pic. Can you all recommend some and where??

BTW, The wheels from the last picture were delivered yesterday
