So basically the same rwhp as an M6 6th gen, and about 30 ft lbs less rwtq than a M6 6th gen...

The only thing I see the Camaro (how can people still not spell this after all these years!?) getting is for the refresh is cosmetic and the A10. Don't expect a huge performance gain from the A8-A10. Not gonna be as drastic as going from the A6-A8 in both the Mustang and the Camaro, and definitely not as great as the old A5-A8 in the FCA vehicles.
The Camaro doesn't need a power boost. It's completely capable as is in the current form. |

Yea, up to 6,800. But 7,200 or a little more is a tune away. Looking forward to seeing a full bolton 2018 GT. If they don't have the M6 bog like the SS, it might be lights out for us. Now if we can all get the M6 bog fixed......

On a side note, pretty sure I saw that a guy on the 6th gen Facebook group figured out a fix. He’s been leaving at like 5000 without issue. Running low 11’s with just bolt ons... |

Talk to Ryan at GPI. He tunes my car as well. Great tuner. You just seen the guy go 11.2 in his m6 an 1.6 60ft |

Exciting! I am working on this too. Although me with a lower 60 I would not be at 11.2. I will at least a couple of tenths behind with my setup. Thinking of a drag pack. I think once the 2018 GTs get sorted we will be seeing S550s in the same neighborhood

Go with a 26 inch rear tire. Hoosier 315/35/17. Improved gearing. They are also very light. Youll be bottom 11s after that if you are mean to it lol. |

Looking around the internet I have seen dyno results in the 415-425RWHP range, though you can't compare cars run on different dynos on different days. HPE ran a stock SS Camaro on their chassis dyno and got 431RWHP and 427RWFT-LBS though how much of that is coming from the dyno, production variation, or fuel used would be anyones guess.

Has Ford released the official curb weights for the 2018 Mustang? I am guessing that the 2018 GT with performance package and 10 speed auto being fully loaded might eclipse 3,900 pounds.
-------------------------- Multiple sources state 3,532 pounds for a base model (2.3EB no options) car, so it looks like that the platform itself hasn't gain much weight if any. still with the last car coming in as high as 3,830ish pounds then add the 10 speed and magnaride shocks I would imagine that the car will get close to 3,900 pounds. I saw where one came in at 3850 with the A10. Not sure if it had mag ride tho. Makes the +119mph traps even more impressive.

It also has at some points 60rwtq more under the curve based on my research. (at around ~2.5-4.5k) Of course I take all with a grain of salt till a back to back dyno, but the new mustang imho will still be slower than the 6th gen M6. Not sure about a8 vs a10 but I bet the camaro will still be faster.
