No that option has seemed to die on the vine from Banks. It was in R&D for awhile but never came to be.

Here’s a thread on the topic with my single post too.

Trochoidal, thx for the response.

I actually did read all of that stuff, I just wanted to make sure I was understanding correctly. I am far far away from a professional in this stuff, so all of the readings and metrics that are supposed to be tracked is a foreign language to me.

All I do know, is my tuner said AFR gauge is a must, and a nice to have would be the boost and e content. I was shooting for banks one because it seemed to provide a decent amount of info, and is imo much sleeker and cleaner looking than the typical AEM gauge without having to spend $800 on something like the P3 gauge. However, it appears that my understanding of this is very little and the job was nowhere close to being as easy as I thought haha.

Doing the AEM 30-0334 and Banks iDash works out well. ZZP dual gauge pod is very nice and allows you to run both gauges simultaneously.

Yeah I knew something like a dual pod would always be an option. I just liked the cleaner, simpler look of the single gauge that I could stick in the air vent. I'll probably just end up going with the single AEM gauge if the AFR readings are that important.

I got power from the cig lighter can't remember how I did it but I didn't cut into the harness. I believe I depinned the plug and made my own harness.

The way I understand it is the AEM wide band is required as the I Dash is reading AFR from the ECM which is the narrow band ....so different.

The other posters here are wondering if Banks could make a software patch would allow the I dash to read AFR/wide band.

So far the answer seems to be no, so I have two gauges one for E content (I dash) and one for AFR wide band (AEM)

Correct... at least that's what I was looking for.

Banks did confirm they haven't made that option yet. Before I be an idiot again, something like this ( https://www.p3cars.com/chevrolet/p3-...uge-2016-2019/ ) would work for reading all of the mentioned options including AFR wideband, assuming you add the option.. correct?

Pretty simple install..... beats removing your console. Plugs in on the passenger side harness and you can run the power cable over to the driver side. I just added a 5 amp mini fuse in line.

Reached out to Banks again about the Wideband sensor for the IDash and it looks like it is getting a little closer to reality. Here is the response I got.

From Banks
I’ve done some digging on this. Looks like units are in production, but final product needs firmware from Engineering… and so far this year there’s a line for that dept.

It’s closer, though.

That's great news... fingers crossed. But, I guess there will still be an issue with data logging in HPT, as the Banks port connector does not have a pass through?

That's a good point. Maybe they will have a splitter we would be able to use. We shall see.

Reached out again this morning and this is what I got back. Looks like we have to wait a bit still.

I’m told that the status remains the same, and that they will not be available till 3rd quarter.
