Well extra options or not, the 2016 Mustang GT premium is 36,300, is an important baseline, and it is selling very well. I think they will start out with a small increase (<$1000) to keep the price close to the Mustang, and then, if sales are strong, they will do a mid-year price increase.

I agree theres no way a 2ss can be 5k against its competitor. If a 1ss is over 35k i would be upset

Voted based on the average increase each year for a new year of 1 1/2 to 3 %. As mentioned Ford and others with their pricing will force them to hold the line. If not, then they will sell less. Spoiler delete changes everything. Also, this is a weak economy with very high under/no employment.

LoL ...... put it this way , I don't think it will be getting any cheaper ...... a definite increase ..... question is, how high will the increase be ? ....

2015 Camaro 1SS = $34,500(starting MSRP)
2015 Camaro 2SS = $38,300(starting MSRP)

I guess we can go from there ......

Looks like only 19 people predicted the base price range out of 92 people. Roughly 20%

With everything that comes with this car as a 2SS that is a steel. Keep in mind to even make the 2015 SS comparable required a RS package which put you at roughly the same price point. Along with a few other upgrades.

It's not like they are giving us a lesser car and asking for more. These cars are loaded up to high heaven. I do not mind paying for what I am getting.

Right. That "no option" 2SS has
- Dual zone climate control
- Bose 9 speaker premium audio
- Heads up display (HUD) color
- Interior spectrum lighting
- Memory package 8-way power driver seat
- Heated and ventilated diver and passenger seats
- Illuminated sill plates
- Heated flat bottom steering wheel
- Universal wireless remote
- Wireless charging
That's on top of the standard content of
- Chevrolet MyLink with Apple CarPlay capability
- OnStar 4G LTE connectivity with Wi-Fi hotspot
- Driver Mode Selector with Snow/Ice, Tour and Sport modes on all models and - - Track mode on SS
- Remote vehicle starter system (with an automatic transmission)
- Driver information center with color display
- Keyless access with push-button start
- Cooling systems for the differential, transmission and engine oil
- Brembo brakes with four-piston front and rear calipers
- Active Rev Matching
- Configurable Driver Information Center
