Same here, I took my car in for warranty work and they told me I don't have to have it done if I am willing to sign the waiver.

I broke down and got the key. I picked it up on Friday and really thought it would bug me but it actually doesn't matter to me, I liked the switchblade key but the new key is ok. Just my opinion. Let me know if you want to see a pic I will take one and post it.

Sure, could you post a pic or two? I'm thinking of waiting it out to see if they come up with a better looking key than what I've seen posted here.

The only thing I don't like is that the side of the key fob is open now, I would like to find a blank to put in there just to cover it up.

Got mine. Phoned them and told them, "Not happening." After a moment of silence she replied that she didn't know what to say because I was the first to decline.

Received the recall letter more than a week ago. Just filed it in my folder with other Camaro documents. Currently have no intention of having my FOBs neutered.
