I'll get off the soap box now....and go drive my car.... |

Just had a question. I noticed on the video that the light was green for awhile before he left? Also did they just put down VHT on the track before the run? I can see the car's tracks all the way down the strip. Great job though!!

I don't recall reading whether-or-not the Launch Control was engaged, but I know that the RPMs need to stabilize after going WOT so maybe that was the reason for the delay  I know for me, if I were just working on getting the best 1320' time possible, I'd do the same. I get awfully jumpy at the line when the tree comes down. Being that jumpy makes for less than ideal and consistant times. Of course, averaging .005 RTs over a few runs isn't bad either
