PDR Video Settings

Is there any way to adjust the camera settings? I haven't been able to find anything and the quality is very poor. I've tried an older 32GB Scan Disk SD Card and a new Micro San Disk 128GB Extreme Plus SD card in a SD Card Adapter.

I'm thinking I need to make a trip to the dealer but thought I would ask here first. I did search and didn't see anything related to this.

Here's a clip:

Thanks for any help, input.

Rob

Embedded the video to make it easier.

Has anyone experienced this?

A lens cap cover was left on my camera, but my image was just completely red. Yours looks like a connection or programming issue. You'll need to visit the dealer.

Yeah, you either ordered false color FLIR or you've got a pdr issue the dealer needs to look at.

Look at the front of the windshield around the mirror from the outside, make sure the dealer pealed the protective plastic off of the PDR camera lens.

Just to give everyone an update. The car has been at the dealer for 3 days and GM said to replace the camera. They replaced it but it didn't solve the problem. They're now waiting for GM to tell them what to replace next.

The other 2 issues it was there for are completed.

They offered to give me the car for the weekend and I told them to keep it till it's fixed because I have another vehicle at home to drive.

Looks like the Red component is missing. I'm not sure how these cameras are wired, but some setups have a wire per color component (red, green, blue). The red component is simply missing, so there might be a wire broken/disconnected somewhere.

Looks like a connector/cable issue to me.

Still waiting. GM supposedly told them to be on "stand by" and they'll call them. I said so that means you just wait without following up? Apparently he got the hint and they called GM back after a day of waiting. GM says "order and replace the module". So, it should be in tomorrow and hopefully that solves the problem but like others have said, I'm betting on a bad connector or broken wire somewhere not sending red from the camera.

I run a business that requires strong customer service so it's really hard to accept just stand by and we'll get back to you...sounds like BS.

Fixed!

The dealer replaced the module and it solved the problem. All good now.

Is there any way to actually adjust the camera physically? Seems like there is something blocking the top 1/8th of the view. Either the camera is pointed up or the bezel is pointed down

Edit: here's my video
