How long did your stock battery last?
Mine was changed recently, car was built in Sept 2011.
Longest I've ever had a factory battery to last!

I got eight years out of my stock battery. It was still working great but I decided to change it before my trip to Camarofest.

I switched mine out in January of '18 when the car started repeatedly starting sluggish. The car rolled off the assembly line August 3, 2009. It probably still had some life, but I never tendered it and I needed it to reliably make a 1,000 mile trip in March that year.

10 yrs. Car built in Nov 2009. Just changed it this past Nov. Wasn't having any issues, but felt like I was on borrowed time.

2011, I changed it this year. It probably would have lasted a bit longer with a tender, a situation that I've since rectified.
Side note, 2012 Ram is also on it's original battery. 60k miles and starts like new even after sitting for weeks at a time. |

I have a 2010 Camaro from 2009 and I still have the original AC Delco battery.
Although there is already a decrease in capacity under load, the car still cares and runs smoothly. But this year I will replace it. |
