Better and better

Hey just hit the 4K mark on the odometer and this car just keeps getting faster. On a first gear roll on in Sport mode, the tires are breaking loose at about 4-5K rpm; traction control can't keep up. Anyone else experiencing this? Pretty awesome.

Engines make more power this time of year in general. Cold air temps. Also gives the tires leas traction. Plus I'm sure the motor does pick up some power as it loosens up.

I'm with you, but we've been in the high 80's for the last two weeks. I think it's making more power.

You'd be surprised how much the tires have actually worn even if you baby the car. Ours are almost gone front and back at 10,600 miles. Had the car for one year this Dec 16th. Cold air and tires are my bet. We went to the track and ran 11's with just 600 miles on the car. It hasn't gone any faster since.

My cars have always done the same, felt stronger after break-in, they do pick up power and everything starts to work a little more efficient. you can tell even without spinning tires the car gets quicker.
