Absolutely not! I hate the looks of the 6th gen. I'm so glad I got it when I did. The front clip is to busy and seems too futuristic. The 5th gen refresh nailed it. So I'm keeping it forever. When it's time for a stable mate it will be GT350. It looks and sounds better too.

I'm hard on the fence about trading up for a 2017 (I don't buy the first yer of new model, there's always issues). Between the lighter, more power, nicer interior and magnetic ride suspension... my only problem is that it doesn't seem as aggressive looking. I still like the looks, it just doesn't seem as aggressive. BUT, it's all going to come down to my financial situation at the time and whether or not I'm going to stay in the Navy. It's either going to be Hellion TT kit for the current, trade for a 2017, or trade for a C7 Corvette. Either way, upgrades will be taking place.

Early 5th gen just looks sexy to me. Lines are right, rear end and tail lights are right... Dont know why they tried to incorporate a honda prelude and a new mustang, IDK.

IMO what makes a muscle cars' looks are the curves and surfaces that mimic the curves of a woman. (Hope I dont stir up a hornets nest with that.) Its the overall effect. Its still a car so it has to have some functionality. My case... |

I will likely be trading in for the 2016 convertible. I've had too many problems with the top on this one. BUT, I believe that GM has fixed the issues for the 2014-2015 verts, so I'm willing to give them a shot on the 2016. That Hyper Blue with a black top & black wheels will be sexy as hell. And I'm 46, but I want a NAV system built in also. Other issues that are making me want to trade are:
- When I close 1 dash vent completely, the cold air that gets through ends up fogging up my radio faceplate. I think the 2016 layout has that taken care of. - When the A/C fan is on at low speeds, there's a definite "whine" that makes me think a bearing is bad. it's been like this ever since I've had the car & the dealerships can never " recreate the occurrence". - I don't like the gauge pod (would have rather had a storage tray instead) and I like how itwill be electronic vs physical. - 2016 Ambient lighting: I LOVE the "light show" effect & the fact that I can change to whatever color I want. I was also going to install ambient lighting in the cupholders of my 2012 - the 2016 has it covered. |

In my perfect world, I would take a 10-13 camaro, get a 14 front end on it, and a 16 powertrain/interior. JUST sayin

Have to 2nd that. That old rendering was and continues to be hideous.
I like the 6th myself. I'm sure I'll have one in the driveway at some point.

I'll be keeping my '15 1LE and eventually trade in my Sonic for a 6th gen at some point in the future. Still have lots of time to determine which model it will be.

I may add a 6th gen (trade in the wife's Cruze Diesel)...but the 5th gen is going to be around for long time.

The SIX is a better car in every way but...
I'll be hanging on to my 5G. I ordered it from the factory so I got exactly the looks and options I wanted (which would never be found on a dealer lot). Since then, I've added 50 delicious rwhp, improved throttle response and sound. I just simply like my current car too much to dump it for a big loss just to have the latest and greatest model out there.

5th GEN for me. Plus, we need to remember that most of the Camaro GENs looks stand alone. The 5th GEN seems to replicate the 1st GEN Cmamro in a modern way. IMO.
