0-40 is hard to find in my area, Dexos2 Mobil1 SuperCar whatevers. Never once have I seen the M1 Supercar, anywhere. I use Castrol Edge, it's on the GM Dexos2 roster.

I just let the dealer change it. My dealer only has the corvette mechanic do the oil changes on the corvettes and the ZL1's.

There was a post here about an oil deal from autozone for Mobil 1 0w40 dexosr. I just used it last week. It's WAAY cheaper than dealership where they charge like over $200 for the change. Here is the link to the deal which says it ends tomorrow for me so I would get on it:

https://www.autozone.com/motor-oil-a...rt/1177215_0_0

Go here and click on See available deals
Select that top one that comes with 5 quarts of the oil, some shop towels and a oil filter you don't need.
Run this deal twice
Go pick it up and then when you get there, just return the two filters.

You will have to source the oil filter from somewhere else, amazon has them, not sure if the ZL1's have a different filter but I used the Acdelco PF64.

That will be WAYYY cheaper than that oil from amazon that I almost bought until it get cancelled because they didn't have any in stock.

Here is the post

I always just look all over the internet. Walmart and Amazon will run specials on the 5qt jugs for $20-$25 each shipped and where I seem to find the best deal.

He's only at 500, I'd wait with the diff fluid change till 1500 miles on the clock to give the diff some more miles to accumulate initial wear material.

I agree with arpad_m. Wait until your ZL1 gets more miles Fran! And don’t get stressed out about trying to find oil.
