Do you have the full (scanned) time slip?

It could be a trap speed happy track. I've been trapping 88 mph in the 1/8 when I trap 111 mph in the 1/4 mile.
So I would assume one would need 89-90mph in the 1/8 mile to trap 113 mph.

Based on his 86 mph trap speed in the 1/8 mile, he should be trapping around 109 -110 mph tops in the 1/4 mile.

Perhaps the track is below sea level and on a decline? If not that is one hell of a factory freak...

There was 1 guy there with a 10 sec procharged '10SS. He said I really needed to get some drag radials to hook up.
Get that guy with the 10 second procharged '10SS to join Camaro5, I want to see that Camaro

Also, your reaction time is sloooooooooooow.

Leave on the last yellow if you're running a sportsman tree...

Here's a tip... Lower your sun visor so you have to nod down to see the staging bulbs... then after you stage, move your head up until you can just see the last yellow (will take a few times practicing) then when you see the last yella', drop the hammer!

to add on to that you are right cause the time it takes to change from yellow to green you would be in the clear. but also what i was told when i was at a class for drag racing. (yes class, big group event part of policy) is not to dump and get your tires loose. some what lug the car so yeah take off around 2500 rpm. also do not burn out on stock tires. they are not drag radials and will not heat up. that causes you to lose traction on stock tires. but one quick spin to clean the dirt is good. also go around the water.

The spinning off the line will actually make the MPH better without gaining in ET. The RT doesn't mean anything in the 1/4 mile for ET or MPH. Heads up racing, yes, then it matters.
