Guys.... I messed up (Help)

I messed up guys. I bought after market Headlight D3S bulbs for my 2017 Camaro with the RS package. 3 weeks later they blew up. I took it to the dealer and they told me all the connections are fine up until In the actual headlight housing where they think is the problem. They said they want to change the both headlight housing completely and put new pairs in. Which they want to charge me $3600 for. That's absurd. We know for a fact that the problem is in the headlight housing itself nothing from outside that. The daytime DRLs work fine and it's just the Headlights that won't turn on. I'm wondering what's messed up inside the housing. So my questions are

1. Does anyone know what's wrong?
2. How many components are there in the headlight housing that makes the Headlights work. (Just the headlight housing nothing outside it)
3. Could it be the headlight control module or the headlight ballast that blew out?

Put the original bulbs back in the housings. If they still don't work head to another dealership.

Yes we've tried all that and bought new Headlights and still didn't work. We already know the problem is within the headlight housing. Just don't know what exactly. Dealer already charged me $630 for the bulb and installation+diagnostics

Did you take it in with the aftermarket bulbs? If you didn't it should be covered under warranty.

I took it with the original oems inside. But somehow they said they wouldn't cover it because I changed my reverse lights to LED and that can damage it. Which makes no sense so now they refuse to cover it.

If i can recall all the lights are somewhat linked. If you pull your fuse out for your headlights it can effect your brake lights, etc. Things may have changed for the Camaro but I'm not sure.

Put all the bulbs back to OEM and go to a different dealership if possible.

Would another dealer take care of me? Even tho I bought my car from a different dealer?

Yes your vehicle warranty is covered at any GM dealership no mater where you purchased it from. It's a global warranty not a local dealership warranty. Just make sure you remove the other bulbs before heading to the new dealership.

They told me they already contacted GM techs once to ask them for help and they told them it was the Headlights. Do you think they'll keep my information from my last dealer or maybe have my VIN on record? That could effect me going to a different dealer if they end up calling GM techs also
