Two noises I notice in quiet garage - buzz from HID's? Clicks from alarm?

Hi fellas, two observations I notice when going to my car in a closed, quiet garage. Probably normal, just never heard noises like these on my other cars.

1- If it's dark enough for the lights to go on, I notice this high pitched buzzing sound. Stops as soon as the lights go off. Is this some sort of light timer, HID warm up noise? Or?

2- When I go to the car and unlock it from the fob I can hear like a click, click noise. Not the actual locks, something else. Seem to hear it too if I have hood open awhile and close it. But if I unlock and lock it multiple times in a row it doesn't do it. Something to do with the prox key, alarm related? Or?

Any input would be appreciated!

The clicking could be a module self testing.

Ok, good to hear. I think it's something to do with the HID's.

I notice it only will "click, click" after I unlock it with the fob after it sits a little. If I try to do it multiple times right in a row it doesn't. Makes me think it's something alarm related turning off or something. I only hear it in my garage, can't notice it outside...

The buzz is from the ballasts for the HIDs. I hear the clicking too, sounds like relays to me. Nothing to be worried about.

Yeah, I figured it was relays or something. I think it's either related to the pros key, or alarm...seems to tie in there somehow.

Want to hear a real funny sound? At least I think the 6th gens still do it...

Turn on your high beams in the garage, while the low beams are on.

yep buzzing is the HID's. when I open my door I hear a clicking noise from the underneath rear of the vehicle. My guess is a module waking up.

Are you talking about the "thunk" of the shutters on the projector beams? Mine does that. My truck does it too, but it doesn't seem as loud.

Fuel pump priming? Some cars do this when the key is turned but since these cars have proximity fobs it could be the pumps.
