But I dont like 4 cyl.....in a Camaro Atleast. Its just reminds me of the mustang in fast n furious Tokyo drift... (Even though that was a inline 6 I think....regardless). Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

Mustangs DID run a very anemic 4-banger. It was a Pinto with an appearance package on it.

I call BS on the I-4 (LTG Ecotec?) -- I cannot imagine many buying any -- what is this now, a Cobalt Camaro?! Why would GM drop from 323 HP to 272 HP (based one the ATS offering: http://www.cadillac.com/ats-luxury-sport-sedan.html ) for a base model, thereby downgrading it?!
Instead would imagine we will see the twin-turbo V6 make its debut on the Camaro, ala Cadillac ATS Vsport, along with a lower power V6... The two DI LT-engines are obvious choices... Of course there's always that Elmiraj twin-turbo V8 lurking in the wings: "4.5-liter twin turbocharged V8 delivering an estimated 500 hp. The engine takes the baseline technology from the Cadillac Twin Turbo V6 and expands it to the classic performance format of a V8 engine." Last edited by libertyforall; 06-23-2014 at 08:10 PM. |

No, well then tell me why it makes sense in an ATS Vsport, which is also on Alpha, which the 6th Gen will be too?

There are many Camaro owners that would love to have better fuel economy with performance similar to what they have now. Style and price is really what I'm most interested in. I have no doubt that the Camaro will be fun to drive all across the lineup.

No i think he's saying that the group that would purchase a civic because of its price point and mpg, might be interested in a camaro if its in the same price point, and mpg range....
