5th Gen Z/28 fascia on 5th gen ZL1?

Hey guys,

I'm thinking of selling my ABM SS to get a 14-15 ZL1.

However I am in love with the z/28 fascia. Is it possible to buy a conversion kit of some sort and put the z/28 bumper on the zl1? I know the rear diffuser can be swapped because they are the same design.

It sounds crazy, I know but I want it that way.

yes, you can switch to the z28 front end but it is a lot of work not to mention you will need front fascia, lights, fog lights, and fenders as well.

Can I use the normal lights that are on the zl1? Or do I need to swap them out for the z/28 ones?

There is a design reason why Camaro team did not put the 14-15 refreshed front fascia on the ZL1. The refreshed fascia does not allow for as much air flow and therefore not as much cooling. If you plan to do any kind of motorsport driving such as autocross, HPDE, etc... I would not switch to the 14-15 refreshed fascia on a ZL1.

For headlights if you did the switch you would need to switch headlights as well. The 14-15 headlights are a different housing size to fit behind the refreshed fascia.

Find someone with an ss, since the only difference is ducts to the breaks and splitter I believe, that wants the zl1 front fascia and swap everything over

I know you didn't ask for any opinions, but I would definitely be interested in your ZL1 front fascia, just for a spare. In my opinion the ZL1 front fascia looks much much better than the Z/28 front!
