Checkin' out her hips

What a view in the side view mirrors! Those hips....wow, that is some great sheetmetal. I love looking out over the hood bump and rally stripes, but the hips win for me. May not go down in history with the '59 Caddy and '57 Chevy fins or the '63 Vette split window, but i sure love it.

If you can see your RQP in your side mirrors, your mirrors are set incorrectly.

Seeing a little bit of "QP" in the mirror gives a visual reference point. Shouldn't occupy a lot of the mirror, but ain't nothin' wrong with getting that reference point, and enough to give the viewer ample opportunity to admire said hips.

I had to laugh when I read the OP. It is a nice sight to see. I am one of those that had to learn to use the side view mirrors differently. I still have them set to see a sliver of the RQP now and it was hard getting used to it but it works great.

Dean.

The hips are a nice view in the mirrors, to be sure. However you'll eliminate most if not all of your blind spot problems if you push both your side view mirrors out until you can't see the sides of the car anymore.

That's why I call her Bertha, them big hips. Nice to rub them down with a fluffy microfiber mitt while she's wet and soapy.

Years later I still love the way the car looks. The rear quarters are a big part of that IMO.

I think that what made the Corvette so attractive back in the days.
I remember looking at the 1968 and thought what a nice rear
