If they do make a Z/28 as a top of the line model like last time, they need to limit the production run. I pretty much guarantee that if they had limited the Z/28 to 500 (or 602 for history) per year there would be no question about whether the car was a success. Camaros were selling well and they decided to sell as many as they could make. Limiting the number would have cut total production by 1/3 and made them much more desirable and in my opinion would have made them hold their value much better. They would be viewed as the collectors items they are. Instead there are plenty of people trying to get rid of them at a steep discount because the market is over saturated.

That is funny! With only 1800 made you would think there would be more buyers. The plain truth is the name Camaro is what shot it down. As a car guy I don't care who makes the car, I only care about what it can do and the quality of it - so I spent the 76K and bought one of my all time favorite cars - for what it does. Which is go around a track ALL DAY and I don't have to worry about it. Give it a few years and those who track their cars will start grabbing them up at these low prices. I feel that eventually you will be paying more than what I paid for it. But that just an opinion of an owner.

As bad ass as that engine is, it's not street legal because it won't pass emissions. Wonder how much it would need to be detuned to pass emissions.

It is street legal, for older cars. But this can go in a vette if you watch the other video.

Here is the last Mercury in a vette.

It is insanely bad ass it would be really cool to see it. I guess I just try and stay on the pessimistic side of things as to not get let down lol.

According to Rick from Mercury, in can only go in vehicles 76 and older.

I don't think there'll be a 6th gen Z/28.
With the way the buyer market is looking for the camaro, they really don't have a good reason to.

The 5th gens sold much better, so it was justifiable. GM used that extra money to create something really special for those who really wanted it.

I disagree . I can see the lackluster sales with the 2019 wolverine grill and a “ fix “ would be to add a Lt5 option . The 2014-2015 had the hideous tailights . The only bonus to those cars was the z/28 powerplant . 2010-2013 looked great 2016-2018 camaros looked great.

Chevy is doing the same thing with the 2019 silverado ( trying to make it look hideous ford looking and f*** up the best looking silverado grill they ever had , 2016-2018)

Just my opinion.

I always though the 2010-2013 Camaro looked like a Cheshire Cat after a Bong hit from the rear.

Over populated? Ohio's population density is 282 people per sq mile, California's population density is 240 people per sq mile so in fact California is not anywhere near overpopulated it's actually less densely populated than the state you live in.
PS: You want to know what state is actually overpopulated, New Jersey, there's over 1000 people per sq mile.
