... oh, and when you are done driving it, it should have MORE gas in the tank, not less. The car companies have been doing it soooo wrong all these years.

You must be referring to the 200-mpg carburetor that the oil companies bought from the automotive industry and killed.

I love that one!!! Believe it or not, I saw someone claiming that to be true just a few months ago. You gotta love an urban legend that lives that long.

Well, bigger on the inside. But smaller on the outside. Like it needs to have the room of an Impala but it can't take up anymore space than a Miata.

And it needs to look completely different from the 5th gen, but they can't change anything because that will make it look too 'Euro'

Well lets see now. When I graduated from college, I bought a new 1973 Ford Pinto with a whopping 54 HP.

Now we can walk in, and walk out with a supercharged 580 HP Camaro designed from the factory to take to the drag strip, put it in a special mode just for use at a very well prepped track, and launch that sucker all day long, hit mid 12's or better with factory tires, and still covered by the factory warranty, then drive home in it !

Boy have we come a long way already.

We're always good for a little ridiculous stupidity. Just ask.

I totally agree. When I was in high school, we watched Magnum PI drive around in a Ferrari that put out a little over 200 HP and did 0-60 in just over 6 seconds. We thought that wasn't engineering, it was magic!

Now my V6 Camaro puts out a little over 300 HP and does 0-60 in just under 6 seconds. Now I can buy a standard non Z06 Corvette that does 0-60 in under 4 seconds, and hopefully we will soon be able to buy an SS Camaro that can do 0-60 in just over 4 seconds.

Great time to be a car owner if you are into cars. Especially muscle/pony cars!
