True but I checked Yen and Yuan are about the same rate of currency so it doesn't really matter but thanks for the correction

Put my front 1le sway bar on tonight in about 2 hours using BMRs instructions sheet. Found a typo along the way, it takes a 18mm wrench to get the nut off the end link not a 15mm like the sheet says.

Also to add to the horror story of my a8 tranny line recall, I found about 10-15 missing bolts and screws in the various splash shields, and the aluminum cradle brace. There were several others in the brace that were only finger tight. So I don't know if they shook out going down the road, or just weren't put in period. Going to get those on order from thatgmpartsguy. I am done with the idiots at the local dealership. Also going to order some new trailing arm bolts for bmr trailing arms that I will install with the rear swaybar.

Just doing the front swaybar as usual has made a huge difference in the feel of the car. As soon as I backed out of the driveway and took the first curve I could tell she was a lot tighter up front. Hopefully with the next round I will get the rear to stop being so soft and stepping out to the right. If not it will be time for the bushing kit, and rear alignment check.

After that maybe a s type axle back from borla.

haha, yeah can't complain. Our first date was a Camaro/Firebird show followed by spending the rest of the afternoon at a cruise-in. Although she has a bad habit of calling my cars "soft core porn." She loves most Camaros/Firebirds but is partial to 1st gens. Those are apparently "hard core porn". Even after I got the SS and took for a spin, I said "THIS isn't soft core porn." She gave me that look of "aww, you're so cute when you're wrong"

So, living in New Orleans, I've been getting a lot of condensation on the windshield lately. As in, every morning. Brought it to the dealership. They said that they've verified that ALL the Camaros do the same thing (customer car in for warranty work, plus 4 new Camaros on the lot). They also checked the voltage going to the damper motor, and it is working properly. Their conclusion was that the damper simply isn't sealing off all the air. Short of completely disassembling the dash, they don't see a way to fix it. So, I've added my name to the list so that hopefully there will be a recall.

But, until then, I decided to do something myself. Got some heavy construction paper and made a template (put it on the vent, pressed down to make dents at the edges, then traced the dents with a pencil). I had to fine-tune the cutout a few times to get it to fit exactly.

When I got it to fit perfectly, I put a 3M Di-Noc carbon fiber sticker/film on top of the paper. Then, I put several spots of double-sided tape on the bottom to hold it in place (the tape strips that come with those wall-mounted hooks works great). The last thing I did was grab some black duck tape and line the underside of the edge nearest the windshield (so that absolutely no air would escape out of the front - only the back that is farthest away from the windshield).

Stuck the whole thing down, and here is the result.

After 3 days of driving, I can report that there is NO condensation on the windshield. It works perfectly.

That's brilliant. Nicely done. So clean looking too - I cant even tell anything is there. I used to live in New Orleans and I had that problem all the time. Never seems to happen in Michigan though haha. It's dry here. But the food sucks in comparison to New Orleans. Win some, lose some...
